Viva La Beauty: Strong Tunes

our musical taste consists of a wide variety of musical genres. we're not TOO picky but there's one genre we absolutely cannot stand: Country. I mean Tswizzle is cool and all, but anything past that equals throw up in our mouths. I cannot stand screamo music and although chelsea doesn't like it that much she does have a secret collection of it on her ipod....
however, throughout the many genres and types of music that exist in the world today, our most favorite kind is indie rock. oh how we love the indie rock.
some of our absolutely most favorite artists include:
Vampire Weekend
Matt and Kim
Coldplay
Death Cab for Cutie
Noah & the Whale
there are many more bands we enjoy listening to, but those 5 would be at the top of the list.

this past summer (definitely the greatest summer ever) we had the grand opportunity to see Noah and the Whale perform live at the Bluebird Theater and Matt and Kim perform at the Ogden Theater in Denver, CO. greatest experiences of our lives.

yeah. those two days combined changed our lives.

so i think it's in our best musical interest to say that WE LOVE MUSIC. but we don't just merely love music. we have a passion for it. music can make you cry. music can make you laugh. but most importantly music can make you think. it is our goal in life to find the most wonderfully fantastic songs ever created by man. so throughout this blog we will be posting our "Music Pick of the Week"... providing you with what we consider to be some of the best song picks we happen to stumble across.
